The Morgue for the Remnants In here, so cold,
As lifeless as a morgue.
Fingers and faces, blue and black.

All the lights out, no stirrings,
Every body bag forgotten.
Blank labels, empty entrails.

Light waning, days draining,
Every minute left alone,
Every second forbidden to move.

White tiles, bright lighting,
Darkest shadows come out of hiding.
They see but they cannot sound.

Doors sliding, scalpels slicing,
Draining all my thoughts and feelings,
Memories slip down the drain.

Still frozen, on the outside,
But on inside I am wailing.
Yet the night is still progressing.

Where to go with no hope?
For metal boxes now entomb me.
Far away and consigned t
A Storm Foreseeing Change The rain's pouring down cold.
The wind whips, uncontrolled.
Twilight is ceasing day,
And blurred is my way.

I freeze but I stand still,
Too cold to care or shrill.
My chest has been empty,
No flame of any degree.

The weather's chill concludes
A long tale, my ruthful prelude.
But a storm sets sail to change;
This time is mine to take.

Strikes crash all around me,
A flash-filled massive sea.
As every raindrop descends,
A second away Time sends.
